EML call No. 500 at the Port of Esbjerg

With the arrival of the car carrier City of St. Petersburg into Esbjerg this Friday 7^th August 2020, it will be the 500^th direct call, since Euro Marine Logistics (EML) on the 11^th April 2014 launched a new service between Newcastle (Tyne), Zeebrugge, Esbjerg, Drammen and Gothenburg, carrying new cars.

City of St. Petersburg is a medium sized dedicated car carrier, with a capacity of up to 1500 new cars. On this voyage she will discharge about 500 cars in Esbjerg. The largest EML vessels have a capacity of up to 3100 cars and the record number of cars discharged in Esbjerg from a single call was 1927 cars.

During the years EML have in total discharged in excess of 228.000 new cars in Esbjerg alone, mainly Renault and Nissan but also Dacia, Volvo, Opel, Citroên and Daimler.

In Denmark EML is represented by Esteph in Copenhagen who in cooperation with Niels Winther Liner Agencies and Scandinavian Auto Logistics in Esbjerg handles the Agency and Operation of the vessels. Scandinavian Auto Logistics handle distribution of the cars from Esbjerg to the dealer network in Denmark.
